England Make Wobbly Start to Final Test

England have struggled to 180/5 at tea after losing wickets early on the first day of the third and final test against New Zealand at Trent Bridge.

The Black Caps won the toss and sent the hosts in to bat first in partly cloudy weather conditions.

After the early losses of Allistair Cook and captain Michael Vaughan, opener Andrew Strauss and Kevin Petersen consolidated for England. Strauss looked solid before he was caught by Ross Taylor off the bowling of Kyle Mills for 37.

Pietersen is still there on 71 with Tim Ambrose at the other end on 36.
